Why does this great film have such bad critical reviews?
The directing and cinematography might not be for everyone, but the story and acting are excellent.

I just don’t see it - I don’t see the mysterious murderous mastermind in any other joker past or new…I think it’s over for this iconic character

Late night American Football movie, and some top performances from an all star cast.
An cinematic masterpiece with an all star cast. Directed by Oliver Stone and staring legends such as Al Pacino, Cameron Diaz, Dennis Quaid, LL Cool J, Jamie Foxx and many many more.
The narrative will have you on the edge of your seat with all actors giving the performance of a life time. The cinematography was revolutionary putting the audience in the middle of the action.
Has anyone else seen this and what's your thoughts??

I've noticed a posting format that is regularly used. It goes like, " Name a movie that blah blah blah, I'll go first." They'll post a pic of some obscure scene from the movie thinking that's enough to go off of and leave out the title. At which point you have to scour the comments in hopes to solving the mystery. Can we all agree to put a stop to this madness?

For its Shia Labeouf...his personal issue held him back so much. He could have been great. Also some of the work he did def held him back.

I'll keep this spoiler free. Basically, I have never seen Se7en until today. I was browsing this sub, and similar subs, looking for a new (to me) movie to watch. I went into it without knowledge or big spoilers. I only knew two pieces of information. One, is that it had a "twist" ending from spoiler free reddit comments (disagree now that I've seen it, not really a twist. More of a surprise), and two, I know the quote "What's in the box?" from a few references from other shows/movies (I'm thinking of Adam from Workaholics.)
I liked the movie, I enjoyed all 3 performances from the 3 big actors but.... I guessed the ending the second the main character got angry during the stairway scene.
Btw I'm generally horrible at anticipating things like that.
Solid movie, It's a shame pop culture ruined the ending for me even without actual spoilers.

I finally got around to watching The Outsiders. It’s a movie I’ve been hearing about for years but only recently watched. What was the appeal of it?

The entry scene of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is a brilliant introduction to the character's roguish charm and unorthodox style. As the camera pans to Jack standing tall atop the mast of a small boat, it initially gives the impression of a grand, fearless pirate commanding his ship. However, the illusion is humorously shattered when the camera pulls back to reveal the boat slowly sinking. Jack calmly sails into Port Royal, his boat submerging just as he steps onto the dock without missing a beat. This scene perfectly captures Jack's mix of luck, wit, and eccentricity, setting the tone for his character throughout the series.
