It’s not that expensive! It’s the cost of a weekend flight and hotel or a nice mattress. Which are like regular things people buy. Plus pearls NEVER go out of style.

I‘d argue pearls are pretty much seen as old fashioned now, as most modern jewelry is heavier on precious metals and gemstones while pearls tend to be a rarer sight these days.

But with all the discourse around her pearl earrings, she could very well be the reason pearls make a big comeback

Pearls are all the rage for Gen Z actually. Not like big round pearl necklaces or anything, but pearl earrings and rough pearl necklaces sometimes combined with other beads are popular.

Oh! Now that you said it, yeah I‘ve absolutely seen Gen Z Boys wearing pearl necklaces. Haven‘t noticed pearls on Gen Z girls much, though.

I get what you mean. It seems that certain types of pearls have become almost “masculine” in recent times. It’s interesting

Hard disagree, pearls are classic always and they’re also very popular amongst young people.

$800 is the price of the base model iPhone, not even the pro or pro max. Also the price of an apple watch ultra or the cheapest MacBook with student discount and I've seen broke college students with these everyday.

They are classic. Like a black wool blazer
