No, they aren’t “illegal immigrants.” They are here legally and asking for asylum to escape the violence and total collapse of the government in Haiti.

I thought I had read that they were all legal and that Springfield invited them there because they needed workers?
If they were "illegal," there would be a bellowing from the right to deport them.
Trump is outright lying. Again.

This making me realize I am out of the loop. When and why did Hatians become the new conservative racist boogie man? It was central america illegal immgriants for a while. Then, we got the Venezuelan gang taking over some slumlords condemned buildings which doesn't seem to have got a lot of traction. Now Hatians ate the latest boogie man. Any particular reason or just throwing darts to see if something will get traction and move the election needle.

It's just people of color, immigrants, legal or not. Someone to blame their failures on and hate. They happened to be the latest victim. I think it started with a lie on Facebook, and it blew up from there.

It’s really that simple.

What’s crazy is, Haitians have been there the whole time… they’re immigrants, they’re black, they’re anti-Christian (you know… cause voodoo and whatnot). If they could find a couple trans Haitians, it would be like Asshole Christmas at the Trump campaign headquarters (which I assume is just a large room at mar-a-lago decorated like a 1990s Airport Raddison conference room that smells like musty farts).

The reason why this is happening is so fucking stupid you're going to punch your own face out of frustration.

Basically there was a facebook post about a neighbor's daughter's friend's cat that was stolen and eaten by Haitian immigrants. There was no proof, it was entirely made up, yet within 24 to 48 hours it made its way to the Republican Presidential nominee and he shat himself on the debate stage raging about "they're eating the dogs and the cats!"

Within the last week because they had to come up with something to rile people up over so Trump could use it in the debate. It didn't go as planned.

When did liberals decide to pretend people living in abject poverty are exactly like them? We have a feral cat problem in the US, they are incredibly invasive and endanger small animal populations (birds, rodents, lizards, etc…)

This is just their new “strategy” aka make shit up. Search Ohio on r/ conservative and you’ll see how it was only made known once this debate happened. And residents are fighting against his words. Hell I’m taking screenshots of the comments on some posts because they’re right up front and not positive towards trump: his own base is pulling away from him

I keep seeing people saying that the border bill would have let in 1.8 million illegals.

It never enters their brain that is someone is allowed in they are not illegal. They have no idea how laws work or what words mean.
